As a result, the system uniquely includes both downhole and surface chemical injection valves, which also qualify as well barrier valves. The option exists to permanently install the downhole chemical injection valves (SafeLift™  / ISOLift CIV’s) in our dedicated chemical injection subs (CIS). Alternatively the downhole valves can be installed (and if necessary at a later date, retrieved from) in any standard side pocket mandrel. Our, patented modular surface chemical injection valves (M-SAS-C) is the only actuated wellhead (VR profile) set, chemical injection check valve available in the market today. The surface and downhole valves are connected by a standard chemical injection line, which is attached to the outside of the production tubing.
