10 ¾" ASV developed in two months
PTC has successfully developed a 10 ¾" ASV to the same specifications as the 13 5/8" over a course of two months. The 10 ¾" ASV has passed the ISO 14310 level V0 at 5 000 psi working pressure. |

13 5/8" Annulus Safety Valve
The PTC 13 5/8" ASV has now been in operation for 1 year. It was developed over a course of three months which also includes a full scale test with nitrogen to 5 000 psi. During this year, PTC has installed 10 ea of 13 5/8" ASV with no failures. The 13 5/8" ASV is the largest one on the market rated to the ISO 14310 level V0 at 5 000 psi working pressure. |
Successful completion of additional erosion testing
As previously announced the 1 ¾” PTC Gas lift valve “SafeLift” was formally qualified as a barrier valve according to ISO 17078-2 and ISO 14310 in august 2007 based on the test program “Test procedure for Gas Lift Valves for Tyrihans, Trestakk and SRI at IRIS and
K-Lab”.

Successful qualification of 1 ¾" GLV
PTC is proud to announce the successful testing of the SafeLift GLV. PTC has
repeated the qualification program for the 1.5” GLV to also include the 1 ¾” GLV. The test program included a total of 180 separate tests with nitrogen gas and water. |
