The M-SAS Valve is designed and tested in accordance to API 6A PSL 3G PR2, and fire tested in accordance to API 6FB and API 6FD.

The M-SAS Valve has also exceeded the testing criteria of API 6FB and API 6FD, as the valve passed V0 (zero bubbles) with gas as test medium.
The basic SAS valves are uniquely designed with spring activated check valves, with a true metal-to-metal seal.They are designed for installation within the wellhead VR profile.
They have been designed using computational fluid dynamics to optimise flow paths and minimise erosional velocities. This, in combination with few moving parts, robust springs and an optimized material composition makes the valves very robust and ideal for long life service even in harsh environments (H2S, CO2).
The valves have passed extensive testing including both V0 and fire testing with gas as a test medium.
