The Intelligent Dummy Circulation valves are derivatives of our Safelift-S (Shearable Gas Lift Valve) technology.

They are well barrier accredited, 10 K psi, metal / metal seal circulation valves.

The valves are sheared open using differential annulus to tubing pressure ( after pressure testing the tubing and annulus) to allow reverse or normal circulation from kill weight brine to kick off fluid. Once the circulation is complete the valves are sheared (permanently) closed by pressuring up the tubing and annulus. No control lines, no electronics ......just tubing and annulus pressure !!

As a result, they can reduce operational and HSE risk and save at least 24 hrs from completion installation operations, where either dummy valves have to be pulled / replaced in Side Pocket Mandrels, or sliding sleeves have to be opened and closed either side of the circulation operation. They also eliminate the need to circulate past unset pakcers.
